Jan Schreck is a Research Scientist at Intel labs, where he focuses on machine learning based algorithms for the physical and MAC layer. Jan received the Dr.-Ing. (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Technische Universität Berlin, Germany.
From 2015 - 2016 Jan has been a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute, Berlin, Germany. From 2011 - 2015 he has been with the Communications and Information Theory Group at the Technische Universität Berlin, Germany. From 2006 - 2011 he has been a Research Associate at the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute, Berlin, Germany. In 2006 he received the Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Applied Science Berlin, Germany, in conjunction with the Weierstrass Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochastics Berlin, Germany.
