An Overview of FlexRAN™ Software Wireless Access Solutions

FlexRAN™ is a reference implementation for cloud enabled wireless access VNFs. It shows how to efficiently implement wireless access loads through flexible software architecture, new Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors using the Intel® Advanced Vector Extensions 512 (Intel® AVX-512) instruction set, and optimized NFVi with DPDK and the Wind River Titanium Cloud*.
