You will receive a technical overview of Stratix® IV and Stratix V receiver equalization to improve signal integrity. You will learn the benefits and limitations of Continuous Time Linear Equalization (CTLE), the Adaptive Dispersion Compensation Engine (ADCE), and Decision Feedback Equalization (DFE).
Note: This training discusses the hardware resources only. To learn about manipulating these features using the Quartus® II software flow, please see the online training “Decision Feedback Equalization and Adaptive Equalization in Stratix IV GX/GT Devices”.
At Course Completion
You will be able to:
- Describe how receiver equalization works in Stratix IV and Stratix V devices to improve signal quality
- Familiarity with common high-speed transceiver architecture
