A Community Forum for Open Accelerated Computing
The oneAPI initiative was announced around three years ago. Its purpose was to facilitate publishing the oneAPI specification, which is a set of defined programming interfaces for writing software for accelerators such as GPUs.
Multiple versions of this specification were successfully released. Regular technical discussions are facilitated through a set of technical advisory boards.
This session presents the next steps for this effort—a community forum for accelerated computing. The new structure and open governance enables organizations and individuals from across the world to collaborate on defining an open and standards-based programming model for accelerated computing.
