Can your system pass the test?
Intel offers free testing services to customers for creating commercial solutions based on Intel® architecture.
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Test
Does your system meet all electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements to use the FCC/CE mark? All electronic devices have the potential to emit electromagnetic fields, so it is important that they are able to coexist and operate safely within the same environment without being affected by or causing interference to other devices. Our EMC testing checks the interaction of electrical and electronic equipment within its electromagnetic environment and with other equipment to meet the necessary requirements.
Electrical equipment sold in the EU must bear the CE mark to indicate conformity with essential health and safety requirements set out in the European directive. Part of the EU directive covers electromagnetic compatibility, which limits the conducted and radiated emissions that are permitted from electrical equipment and defines the magnitude of incoming interferences that must be tolerated. To use the CE mark lawfully, the supplier to the end user must show a declaration of conformity (DoC) that the product meets the requirements of the EU EMC directive.
Open Area Test Site (OATS) EMC
In addition to the tests above, we can also test your system at an open area test site (OATS) for:
- Radiated Emissions 30 MHz to 1 GHz
