"I have a perfect job that takes advantage of both my technical and business skills. I feel I'm continuously encouraged to grow and develop new skills at Intel"

What's a cool opportunity or project I've had while working at Intel?

I helped orchestrate a virtual training boot camp targeted at software developers. The event reached over 1000 software developers located in 53 countries and 23 U.S states. It was really fun working with different business groups across Intel to make this event happen. This was the first major virtual event of this scale. It was really cool to see all the networking that occurred in the event via chats, exhibition booths and discussion forums

What's the biggest misconception that I think people have about working at Intel?

Most people think that Intel will be surrounded by super technical geeks who don't understand fun. Trust me; you will be pleasantly surprised to be surrounded by some of the most fun-loving people you will ever meet at a work place

What's the most fun experience I've had while working at Intel?

My team had to develop a strategy presentation for our project and somehow we were out of ideas. We spontaneously decided to go on long day hike near Mt. Hood. We returned with some of the best concepts/ideas over a day of hiking.

Why do I think Intel is a great place to work?

You have enough flexibility to define your own career within the company. Intel provides you with lot of options to help evolve and develop your career. Even after 10+ years in the company I never felt like I have stagnated or have hit a career ceiling. I feel like I have the ability to pursue my dream career inside the company.

What do I do when I'm NOT at work?

I love to travel, hike and experiment with my culinary skills. I love to get my hands on new gadgets and technology. I love to experiment with cutting-edge technology.

What's my favorite holiday destination?

I need a regular dose of travel to keep me going; it really does not matter where as long as I get to explore and learn something new

What's the coolest gadget I've bought lately?

My Amazon Kindle* - I can carry over 100 books, all my favorite magazines, and the daily newspaper gets delivered to me directly- how cool is that! What is a cool opportunity or project I've had while working at Intel?
